February 2014: STUDY.UA Education Abroad Exhibition
On February 8th-9th, an educational fair hosted by STUDY.UA company took place in Grand Fairmont Hotel Kiev. Despite the cloudy weather and changes going on in the political sphere, the event has become an undisputable success and gathered the largest audience of all passing events this season. Over 6000 students and their parents have visited Grand Fairmont to speak to foreign guests and STUDY.UA managers, pick up brochures and ask questions about foreign education and student life abroad. Not only the number but also the quality of targeted visitors impressed the international representatives, who attended the STUDY.UA fair for the first time.
- 4000 students and over 2000 parents visited the exhibition;
- wide range of programs (private and public schools, boarding schools, summer camps, colleges and universities, language schools) were presented on the fair;
- 62 partner companies from more than 30 countries participated (along with the most popular Europe and North America destination - China, Australia and UAE);
- unique catalogues of STUDY.UA were given away for each visitor;
- lottery with educational prizes was available at the stands during the fair;
- education seminars were taking place throughout the day with the main topics of interest;
- STUDY.UA language school with German and English courses and summer camp in Kiev was introduced.
The visitors showed great interest not only in the long-popular destinations and programs, such as summer language camps for children, adult language courses and secondary education options. Many older students with Ukrainian diplomas were curious about the Masters programs, alternative ways of studying language such as one-to-one course in the family of a teacher, camps for younger children, Language+ programs, options for undergraduate programs in Europe, America and Asia.
, ex student of the City University of London, commenting on an event:
During the STUDY.UA fair I was assisting a Foundation Campus representative. I have to say I was astonished with the volumes of visitors and their eagerness for not simply rushed brochure-fishing but an actual dialog both with the course rep and me as an ex-student of an UK university. The mood of the fair was very welcoming and inspiring. Visitors not only wanted to know about the programs – they actually wanted to know how it feels like, what's the estimated budget for living, what are the further prospectives of studying abroad and what does it feel like to live the "life after London".
To dive in to the atmosphere of this outstanding event we outlined some testimonials below:
